Shameless self plug post!

My FAVORITE radio station (Mix 93.3) has this really cool thing going on now...through this new contest they've got going on..they are going to give 5 KC Mommy Bloggers NEW Chevy Traverse SUVs to drive for 8 weeks! Seriously....I'd be in heaven...and yes..I've already entered the Mommy Madness contest. Now I don't think I'll get any bonus points for begging on my blog..but I sure hope that I might!

This would be me, oh so happy if I got picked to drive one for 8 weeks! See those tired eyes...it's from working all day then coming home to my very active (but so cute) 11 month old little girl! I'd love to drive my little one around in a vehicle I was truly proud of. Aaron (my husband) gets to drive the nicer car, since he has farther to go. Nevermind the fact that I have a job too, am the main one toting Madelyn around, and was in labor with her for 18 hours and might DESERVE a car to brag about...
This is me when I think about driving my current truck.
...and this is the truck. It's a 90 something. I don't even know. It's got rust above the wheels. It's got paint that has peeled off. It even has a hole in the floor board on the driver's side. The passenger side only unlocks from the inside with a pair of pliers. It shifts hard and you have to count when you shift to know which gear you are in. I don't drive it over 60, I honestly don't think the old bird could handle it. But each and every day that I go to work I listen faithfully to 93.3 (esp Rocket and Teresa in the morning) on my one speaker that pops in and out. So when it's 'out' I crank it up,until I hit a bump and it pops back 'in' and then it blasts me and I have to turn it back down. At least I have a semblance of a radio though...being able to listen to my favorite radio station on the way to work almost makes it worth it!

So please...consider me...I'd really appreciate it..more than you know!!
