I'm back at work.
My munchkin is at home with her Nanny Annie (my Mom-she tried out either Mamaw, or Memaw but it was too confusing and hard to remember, so we're going with Nanny I think!).
Tomorrow Madelyn will be 8 weeks old. 8 weeks!
She's starting to learn to smile and she smiles alot. Her Daddy got his first smile the other day and the look on his face melted me almost as much as her little smiles do. She's also trying to laugh, but she's not quite there...she just kinda crackles, or sqeaks. But it's still sweet.
My maternity leave flew by. And where I can't say I'm really "glad" to be back at work, I will say that it's at least still a comfortable place to be. Getting back into the routine isn't as easy though. But we'll all learn to do it I think...well..no, I know we will.
